Driving Theory and Citizenship
GoCitizen.co.uk at Rutland Libraries
GoCitizen.co.uk is an online study resource for candidates preparing for the Life in the UK Test or British citizenship test. The service includes an online version of the latest official study materials licensed from the Home Office, the people who write the handbook, plus hundreds of practice test questions in the same format as the official test.
Access to GoCitizen.co.uk is completely free for residents who call in to any of the Rutland Libraries. Members of Rutland Libraries can also access GoCitizen.co.uk from outside the libraries using their library card number.
How to sign up for GoCitizen.co.uk
When you first use GoCitizen.co.uk, you will need to register with your name, email address and password. There is no charge for this. This information allows GoCitizen.co.uk to save your test scores so you can follow your progress as you practise for the test.
You will need a valid email address to sign up for GoCitizen.co.uk.
If you sign up from home or anywhere else outside of the library, you will also need a valid library barcode number, available on your library card.

Theory Test Pro at Rutland Libraries
Theory Test Pro is a highly realistic online simulation of the UK’s driving theory test. It contains the official practice test question bank, hazard perception video clips and an online version of the Highway Code. All this material is licensed from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), the people who set the tests.
Access to Theory Test Pro is completely free for residents who call in to any of the Rutland Libraries. Members of Rutland Libraries can also access Theory Test Pro from outside the libraries using their library card number.

Research
Access to Research (in-library access only)
The Access to Research service provides free, on-demand access to millions of academic articles in UK public libraries. It makes it easy for anyone to read publicly-funded research, and helps publishers share content with researchers, students and others who might benefit from it.
All content is accessed online via terminals within public libraries, including Rutland Libraries. You can discover articles via a simple search tool, then read them on the websites of their publishers.
