Oakham Library will be closed from Monday 12 January for around 2 weeks to allow refurbishment works to continue safely.
Key services still available:
- Book returns and collections available at the Family Hub
- Visit Rutland County Museum on Mon, Weds, Fri and Sat between 10am-4pm where free Wi-Fi, local newspapers and a soft seating area will be available

Uppingham Library will be closed from Saturday 13 September whilst refurbishment work takes place.
A reduced service offering book loans ONLY will be available from Uppingham Town Hall w/c 22nd September onwards.
Ketton Library will be closed for refurbishment work from Saturday 4 October.
A book drop and limited ‘Click and Collect’ service for books only is operating from the Ketton parish office. This will be for book returns only (leave them in the crate), and pickup of reservations. Reservations will be bagged and already be issued to the borrower (labelled). Delivery and pickup from Oakham will be once a week on a Thursday. DVDs will not be available for click and collect.
Library users are also welcome to use Ryhall libraries during these periods, particularly for public PC access. Please note that Oakham (as of 8th December) now has reduced public PC capacity temporarily whilst construction work takes place on the former IT suite.
